  • Does Carson Armory offer Concealed Carry Classes?

Yes. Our instructors are certified by the Nevada Chiefs and Sheriffs Association to offer Concealed Carry Classes to both Nevada residents and non-residents. The class is typically offered twice a month on Saturdays. Call for scheduling.

  • Does Carson Armory transfer firearms?

Yes. We conduct private party transfers between Nevada residents as well as accept out-of-state transfers. Both types of transfers require a background check. Call for the fee structure. (Note that private party transfers between immediate family members who reside in Nevada do not require background checks.)

  • Does Carson Armory offer gunsmithing services?

Although we don’t offer gunsmithing services, we do bore sight most rifles and mount scopes. We also carry out basic armorer’s skills on AR platform weapons and some common handguns.

  • Can I purchase a firearm from Carson Armory if I am not a Nevada resident?

The answer depends on whether you are buying a handgun or a long gun. Federal law states that handguns can be sold over the counter only to Nevada residents, but we can ship to a dealer in your state of residence. Over-the-counter sale of long guns (rifles or shotguns) depends on your state of residence. We can sell to residents of many other states, but California is not one of them.

  • Does Carson Armory take guns on consignment?

Yes. We are happy to help you sell your firearms, whether you have one gun or a whole collection. We also buy firearms.

  • I just moved to Nevada. Can you help me register my firearms?

Nevada has no registration program for any type of firearm. Just enjoy your firearms safely and responsibly!
