In 1995, Harry Ferguson opened Carson Armory with the goal of providing quality products backed up by superior customer service. Originally, Carson Armory was located in a tiny building on the eastern edge of Carson City. After rapid growth, Harry moved the business to a bigger building located on Highway 50 E in Lyon County. This move allowed him to offer a more diverse selection of firearms while also keeping more accessories in stock.

While remaining a family-owned and operated business through the years, Carson Armory has added staff with diverse experience and firearms knowledge.
